This is located in the Henson Inn. Elevated dining perfect for a nice date night. Open Wed-Sunday evenings.
Fun place to sit outside and watch the golfers. They often have live music on the patio. Perfect bloody marys!
POSSIBLY CLOSED? BE SURE TO CHECK BEFORE GOING...What a gem! The lemon ricotta pancakes are our go-to here, but you can't go wrong with anything. Closed Wed and Thurs, only open til 3pm. It is down the street from a really fun antique store too - def take time to check that out!
Catskill Mountain Country Store & Restaurant
Great, relaxed place for sandwiches, soups - a very large menu to choose from! It has a neat store attached with toys, books, tchotckes, homemade jams (great gifts!). They have rescued animals in the back, so save time to visit with them - kids particularly love it here (and a pirate playground too!).
This is a very popular spots with locals and visitors. Great breakfast sandwiches and sweet treats, too.
Great spots for families, gets a bit busy so be prepared for a wait (pro tip - the school playground is across the street if kids want to play while you wait).
This is one of our favorites - really delicious and great service. Highly recommend!
This is a fun spot with something for everyone. They have a cute little shop in the front with penny candy.
Deer Mountain Inn (fine dining)
This is one of our favorite spots - very chill, cozy and the BEST homemade bread and butter (a must try). Not as kid friendly, although I am sure they welcome little ones. They have an elevated burger not to miss made by the one and only James Beard semifinalist Corwin Kave. Dressed up with bordelaise and Harvest Moon cheese - prepare yourself.
Try and get a table outside here if you can- really lovely location and fun to finish your dinner cocktail at their firepit. Wednesday night is their Burgers and Beer night!
The tavern is in the cute town of Margaretville - worth checking out and browsing the local stores. This place is a town favorite for good reason.
Great, casual spot serving a wide variety of food including delicious dumplings and thai food. Live music Friday and Sat nights!
This is a great spot particularly after hiking nearby Diamond Notch trail! They have pop-up food trucks but be sure to check times (they often close shop before the brewery does)

We do have shaded areas, but on busier days this can be limited.
Don't be fooled or intimidated by the outside - this is a very local welcoming spot with a great vibe and great pizza, definitely a hidden gem. They have outside seating in the back as well.
Their famous homemade cinnamon rolls are ready every Saturday at 8am until sold out (always, so come early!)
Beloved spot in Margaretville serving Balkan bites paired with delicious wines. Highly recommend the Balkan platter!
We have not been (on our list) BUT they have a burger that was voted best in the Catskills! THE PERFECT SMASH BURGER, ADORNED WITH SECRET BINGO SAUCE, SHREDDUCE, AND A GOLDEN CROWN OF CHEESE. It is about 30 mins away, but apparently may be worth it to try the burger!
Another one on our list to visit, highly recommended for their burger - smothered in a garlic white sauce, dressed with jalapeños, and apparently unforgettably delicious.
